In mid-2023, thousands of drones at a light show in China suddenly landed simultaneously during the performance. Although no information about damage has been recorded when the devices are programmed with a landing mechanism at a safe speed, the incident has greatly affected the overall performance program. The cause is believed to come from radio frequency jamming equipment made by some subjects. This behavior may result in criminal prosecution for destruction or intentional property damage.
Along with technology development, experts worldwide in flight safety operations and high-tech crime prevention security agencies have found solutions to trace the location of transmissions from devices that cause interference. The operating mechanism of these devices is to use a susceptible wave detection system to identify strange frequencies that cause interference.
